Aniene

The river Aniene runs through the town of Tivoli near Rome and made it possible during the Renaissance to build the beautiful gardens that decorates the town and area.

This sweater is knitted in a pattern in which small flower beds are shaped. The flower beds are created with yarn overs, decreases and wrap stitches – like tying a bouquet of flowers.

Combining Alva and Anina creates a very soft and light sweater, with the pattern making a visual garden filled with flower beds.
