Alcea

Alcea is the Latin name for hollyhock – the tall flowers that grow along the houses and fences in the town of Skagen. This cardigan is worked in 2-colour brioche stitch, with the main colour the dark blue of the sea on a cloudy day and the contrast colours at the top reminiscent of the colour of hollyhock.
